Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted for publication are strictly and thoroughly peer-reviewed by experts. The review process is single blind. Before the manuscript is sent for peer-review, the Managing Editor will perform an initial check of suitability upon receipt of the manuscript, and the Editor-in-Chief will look at the manuscript. The Editorial Office will then organize the peer-reviewing by independent experts and collect at least two review reports per manuscript. After a manuscript is accepted for full review, the Editor will collect at least two review comments and ask our authors for adequate revision (with a second round of peer-review if necessary) before requesting the decision of the academic editor (usually the Editor-in-Chief of a journal). Then the decision letter is sent to the Corresponding Author to request an adequate revision (peer-reviewed again whenever necessary). Accepted articles are professionally copy-edited, English proofread and edited where necessary. The author will be asked to format the manuscript according to journal’s template before it goes into typesetting and proofreading with the publisher. The author will receive the paper in PDF produced for checking before it is published online.
